Renegade, Shivam 2021

One of the coolest wineries going, Renegade have been producing wine in the heart of East London since 2016. Making everything from your classics to the more avant-garde, Renegade put a real emphasis on the most important part of wine: the people. Each label shows the eyes of a different person who lives in the UK who each forms a key part of the rich tapestry that makes our island so special. Shivam is made from a blend of 50% Spanish Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% German Pinot Noir; so not your average rosé blend. After fermenting the two wines separately, the Renegade team realised they were meant to be together! The fruitiness from the Spanish Cab Sauv and the acidity and elegance from the German Pinot Noir come together as a beautifully balanced, smooth and fruity summer sizzler. Lots of strawberry laces, raspberry and rhubarb. A match made in heaven.
